products and services at a competitive price, right the first time. Our continuing goal is
to make our customers feel totally confident and secure in doing business with us.

Company Profile
Established in 1968 in East Chicago as a family owned and operated manufacturer of
industrial coatings. Moved to Hammond site in 1969. ISO14001 certified in 2005.
Batch sizes from 30 gallons to 2,000 gallons. Customer color matching services
available.
We are within a few miles of the United States’ busiest highway junctions in Northwest
Indiana, I-80/94 and I-65. We are capable of delivering products via Davies truck, local
truck, and over-the-road trucks. Downtown Chicago is just 30 minutes away with rail
and sea shipment complexes. We are within an hour of 2 major airports (O’Hare and
Midway) and several smaller local airports including Gary.
We specialize in the manufacture of waterborne industrial and specialty coatings and
state regulated traffic marking paint. We also produce limited volumes and types of
solvent-borne coatings for specialty applications.
Davies Imperial Coatings, Inc. is experienced in contract manufacturing and toll
blending, as these have been an integral part of our business since our founding in
1968. This experience applies to many different chemistries, both water and solvent
borne. For example, we toll manufacture specialty waterborne dispersions for diverse
markets. We have a long history of alumina/silica particle dispersion in water systems.
We are able to provide high quality, low cost, private labeling, quick turnaround, on-
time delivery and an experienced professional staff.
